Camden Walk 1

Camden Council 於60及70年代聘請了一位目光遠大的建築師, 支持他組成一團talented 的建築師, 為Camden 建造了英國最著明的 council flats/houses。今日我們挑選了比較後期的, 建於70年代的Branch Hill Estate, 位於Hampstead Village 之中, 是近乎完美的設計, 和大家分享。順道會帶大家遊覽Hampstead Village及其他位於Hampstead 之重點建築物。

Meeting point was Hampstead Station.

The group took a walk through Hampstead village to the hidden Branch Hill Estate, and return to Hampstead High Street

We walked through Goldfinger’s House and Hopkin’s House.

Returning to GLHK, chicken drumstick and sandwiches (left from a party before). 80% of participants returned to the library, rested and looked at the power point again to revisit the concept and design of the Estate.
