一位世界各地的難民之間移動，一位在異鄉重新策劃香港，在離開之後，人如何重新建立一個「家」？這樣的問題浮現以後，讓我們重新思考人們流動的經驗，家的意義不只是地理位置，這次對談將由兩位擁有不同移動經驗的講者，與讀者分享在持續的創作和記錄中，如何保留與家的情感和文化連結。
Book Sharing

Join author Ysabelle Cheung for a special sharing of her debut short story collection, "Patchwork Dolls." The event will feature readings by the author, musical interludes, and a participatory session in which the audience will be invited to write their own letters to loved ones and places far away in space and time.
The sharing will be conducted in English.
About the author: Ysabelle Cheung is a writer and art critic based in Hong Kong. Her fiction writing has appeared in Granta, Catapult, Slate, and the Rumpus. Her short story ‘Please, Get Out and Dance,’ published in The Margins (AAWW), was nominated for the 2022 Pushcart Prize. She was awarded the 2023 Diverse Writers Grant by Speculative Literature Foundation; the 2023 Aspen Words fellowship; and the 2021 Nebula Awards SFWA conference scholarship. She is an alumni of Tin House Workshop and was in residence at the Jan Michalski Foundation in 2022.

靜靜的為你的旅程留下一個記錄
在這四天的工作坊，我們一同學習如何將感受化成故事，由創作，印刷到訂裝，一手一腳完成
費用：每人30磅 (包所有工具和材料費，以及「香港書書簽」贈品一份）
課程完結，每人將會製作小書一式三套，一套將由一頁舟收藏

Humanise - A Maker’s Guide To Building Our World
“Humanise” 是一本很獨特的書, 由一個不是建築師的三維設計師 (three dimensional designer), 從他在建築的設計路途上, 由一個普通人的切入點去與大家討論建築學. 建築設計在城市的責任, 如何欣賞建築? 我希望這本寫給大家 (非專業建築師) 的書, 可能令你對每天在城市遊走時, 留意你身邊的建築及都市環境 (architecture and built environment).
香港朋友對Thomas Heatherwick 的作品, 或他參與的設計作品一點都不會陌生。他在香港的作品包括Pacific Place, 太古廣場翻新工程。在上海國際博覽會的英國館; 在倫敦King’s Cross 的Google Headquarters, Coal Drop Down 及倫敦2012 世運火炬及倫敦巴士。
他的設計往往挑戰固有設計的模式, 突破基於重新思考設計意義 - design always derived from first principle!

Comics, Diaspora, and Fish: A Book Sharing for I Work In Store U In The UK.
Comic artist Kayla will share the creative process behind her new book , reporting her observations of non-fiction comics, writing inspirations, and the identity of Hong Kong immigrants in the UK.
With the support from Greater London Authority, GLHK worked with the writer and published this ebook. We are happy to share the ebook with all Hongkongers and hope it reaches every corner in the world.
